Susan's Garden Release Day - Hello Card

It's a new release day over on the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog, featuring Susan's Garden Club new dies release.

For my project, I featured the new Shasta Daisy die, to create this pretty Hello card. This was my first time creating flowers and I think it may be one of my favourite new things.

For the centers of the shasta daisies, I used Fossilized Amber Distress Ink. To colour the leaves, I used Mowed Lawn Distress Ink as well as the green shades from the Pan Pastel Flower Colouring Kit #2 & #3. To shape the flowers and leaves I used Susan's Garden Flower Making set.

From the Dotted Scallop Oval die, die cut the 3" oval out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Cut a 3 1/2" Dotted Scallop Oval out of yellow polka dot paper from the Thinking about....Grand Canyon Paper Pack. From the Stitched Rectangle die, die cut the 4 1/2" stitched rectangle out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Adhere the White Soft Finish Cardstock oval to the yellow polka dot oval. Foam square the yellow polka dot oval to the 4 1/2" Stitched Rectangle. Adhere the Shasta Daisies to the center of the White Soft Finish Cardstock oval.

For the sentiment, the hello came from the Words 2 - Thinking of You die. Die cut the Hello out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Blend Fossilized Amber Distress Ink over the Hello word. Adhere to the right of the ovals.

And here's the finished Hello card with all the elements together.
