Happy Easter Card

I wanted to share one more post today to finish off this Easter Long Weekend.

For my last post, I'm sharing this adorable Happy Easter Card that features the Hoppy Easter Collection from Simply Stated Design.

To start, you'll need a piece of white cardstock. When cutting make sure that the 8 1/2" portion is vertical on the paper trimmer. Cut a piece that measures 4 1/4" x 11", score at 5 1/2". Fold the cardbase in half. Die cut a 4" Stitched Fishtail at the top of the white cardstock piece, make sure that the top of the fishtail is sitting off of the white cardstock piece.

Die cut a 3 1/2" Stitched Fishtail out of a light pink piece of cardstock from the Hoppy Easter 12x12 Solid Paper Pack. Choose a piece of patterned paper out of the Hoppy Easter 12x12 Paper Pack. Die cut a 3" Stitched Fishtail from the patterned paper. Sand the edges of both fishtails.

Out of the Hoppy Easter Essential Ephemera, you'll need a blue circle label and the Happy Easter Sentiment. Sand the edges of the circle label.

Out of the Hoppy Easter Single Ephemera you'll need three easter eggs, a bird, bunny with pussy willows and the pink banner. Cut the pink banner so that you have 5 pennants. Fussy cut around the eggs, bird and bunny.

Adhere the 3 1/2" fishtail to the 4" fishtail cardbase. Adhere the 3" fishtail to the 3 1/2" fishtail.

Adhere the two large easter eggs to the bottom right side of the fishtail as desired. Foam square the blue circle label to the left of the two eggs, having it sit slightly on the eggs. Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the last egg slightly on the blue circle label and the other easter egg.

Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the bunny to the left of the blue circle label as desired. Adhere the Happy Easter to the blue circle label as desired. I have the sentiment sitting slightly on the bunny and the small egg.

Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the bird in amongst the eggs as desired. To finish the cardfront, adhere the pink banner to the top right portion of the fishtails as desired.

Here are a few closeups of the finished card.

Here is the finished Happy Easter Card.
