Planner Post - Weekly Tag

Happy Thursday! I'm excited to be sharing with you my Weekly Tag for inside of my planner today. To create my weekly tag, I've used a variety of the dies from the Planner Essentials line. You'll want to read below to learn how I created my Weekly Tag.

To start, die cut the small tag from the Planner Essentials -7 out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. On a clear block, swipe Squeezed Lemonade, Peacock Feathers and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Ink. Spritz the ink with water. Press the tag onto the block. Remove tag and set aside to dry.

Once the tag has dried, apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the hexagon stamp from the Pure Spring stamp and stamp randomly on the tag. Reapply the ink to the stamp and stamp again three more times. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the Weekly stamp from the Bullet Journaling 3 stamp set and stamp at the top of the tag. Ink the edges of the tag using Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the girl from the Moments of Life stamp set and stamp onto a scrap piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the Life is saying and stamp onto the same piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the two stars and stamp on the same piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Reapply ink to the two stars and stamp two more times on the same piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Using Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Ink, watercolour the stars and the hair of the girl. Using Tattered Rose Distress Oxide Ink, watercolour the skin and neck of the girl. Using Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Ink, watercolour the three parts of the girl's sweater. Using Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink, watercolour two parts of the girl's sweater and her eyes. To finish off colouring the girl, use Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink, watercolour the lips on the girl. Fussy cut the girl and stars out. Fussy cut the saying out in strips. Ink the edges of all the fussy cut images and saying using Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Use foam squares to adhere the girl in the bottom right side of the tag. Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the saying to the left of her. Use foam squares to adhere the stars around the girl as desired.

Here are a few closeups of the finished Weekly Tag.
