Kindness Notecard

 Happy Friday!

For today's project I'm sharing this Kindness Notecard. To create my notecard, I've used dies from Joset Designs as well as stamps from the Beautiful Blooms Collection. You'll want to read below as I have a full tutorial on how to recreate my notecard at home.

To start, choose three pieces of patterned paper out of the Reminiscence the Book. From the first patterned paper, die cut a 4" Stitched Rounded Rectangle. From the second patterned paper, die cut a 3 3/4" Fitted Rounded Rectangle. From the third patterned paper, die cut a 3 1/2" Stitched Rounded Rectangle. Distress the edges of all three pieces. Ink the edges of all three pieces using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Die cut a 3/4" Stitched Diagonal Fishtail out of a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Cut the fishtail down to 3 1/4". From the Kindness Stamp Set, you'll need the kindness word. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the word and stamp onto the right hand side of the fishtail. Distress the edges of the fishtail. Ink the edges of the fishtail using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

From the Kindness Stamp Set, you'll need the large flower branch, medium flower branch, single flower and two petals. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the stamps and stamp onto a piece of Watercolour Cardstock. Colour the stamped images in using a waterbrush and the Watercolor Palette. Once the images have dried, fussy cut them out. Ink the edges of the images using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Adhere the 3 3/4" rectangle to the 4" rectangle. Foam square the 3 1/2" rectangle to the 3 3/4" rectangle.

Adhere the fishtail to the bottom portion of the 3 1/2" rectangle as desired.

Adhere the large flower branch and medium flower branch to the left side of the fishtail as desired. Foam square the single flower to the left of the kindness word. Adhere the two petals as desired around the flower branches.

To finish the card, cut a cardbase out of White Soft Finish Cardstock that measures 4" x 10 1/2", score at 5 1/4". Adhere the cardfront to the cardbase.

Here are a few closeup photos of the finished notecard.
