Mushroom Card

  Happy Friday!

Today, I'm sharing this adorable Mushroom Card that features the Fairy House Fantasy Collection from Simply Stated Design as well as the Mushroom House Folding Card from Elizabeth Craft Designs.

The first six steps all use the Mushroom House Folding Card Die from Elizabeth Craft Designs.

To start, die cut the mushroom and plain mushroom top out of a piece of white cardstock. Die cut the dotted mushroom top out of the red cardstock from the Fairy House Fantasy Solid Paper Pack.  Fold the mushroom in half.

Next, you'll need the dark brown cardstock from the Fairy House Fantasy Solid Paper Pack. Die cut the chimney and front door step out of the cardstock.

Die cut the window out of a piece of white cardstock.

Die cut the window frames and key hole out of the dark green cardstock from the Fairy House Fantasy Solid Paper Pack.

Die cut the door out of the woodgrain paper from the Fairy House Fantasy 12x12 Paper Pack.

Die cut the grass twice out of the green patterned paper from the Fairy House Fantasy 12x12 Paper Pack. I ended up cutting four pieces out of the grass.

From the Fairy House Fantasy Single Ephemera, you'll need four red mushrooms, three brown mushrooms, a snail, three leaf bunches and two single leaves. I fussy cut around each piece to remove the white.

Adhere the plain mushroom top to the top of the mushroom. Adhere the dotted mushroom top to the plain mushroom top. Adhere the chimney to the top left of the mushroom as desired.

Adhere the first two grass pieces to the bottom portion of the mushroom. Adhere the front step 1/4" from the left edge and to the bottom of the mushroom. Adhere the door to the bottom of the front step. Adhere the remaining two grass pieces in amongst the first two grass pieces as desired.

Adhere the white window to the right of the door as desired. Adhere the coordinating window frame to the white window. Adhere the other window frame to the front door. Adhere the keyhole to the front door as desired.

To the left of the door, adhere a leaf bunch, single lead, two red mushrooms and two brown mushrooms as desired.

To the right of the front door, adhere two red mushrooms, two brown mushrooms, two leaf bunch, a single leaf and a snail as desired.

Here are a few closeup photos of the finished card.

Happy Easter Card

I wanted to share one more post today to finish off this Easter Long Weekend.

For my last post, I'm sharing this adorable Happy Easter Card that features the Hoppy Easter Collection from Simply Stated Design.

To start, you'll need a piece of white cardstock. When cutting make sure that the 8 1/2" portion is vertical on the paper trimmer. Cut a piece that measures 4 1/4" x 11", score at 5 1/2". Fold the cardbase in half. Die cut a 4" Stitched Fishtail at the top of the white cardstock piece, make sure that the top of the fishtail is sitting off of the white cardstock piece.

Die cut a 3 1/2" Stitched Fishtail out of a light pink piece of cardstock from the Hoppy Easter 12x12 Solid Paper Pack. Choose a piece of patterned paper out of the Hoppy Easter 12x12 Paper Pack. Die cut a 3" Stitched Fishtail from the patterned paper. Sand the edges of both fishtails.

Out of the Hoppy Easter Essential Ephemera, you'll need a blue circle label and the Happy Easter Sentiment. Sand the edges of the circle label.

Out of the Hoppy Easter Single Ephemera you'll need three easter eggs, a bird, bunny with pussy willows and the pink banner. Cut the pink banner so that you have 5 pennants. Fussy cut around the eggs, bird and bunny.

Adhere the 3 1/2" fishtail to the 4" fishtail cardbase. Adhere the 3" fishtail to the 3 1/2" fishtail.

Adhere the two large easter eggs to the bottom right side of the fishtail as desired. Foam square the blue circle label to the left of the two eggs, having it sit slightly on the eggs. Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the last egg slightly on the blue circle label and the other easter egg.

Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the bunny to the left of the blue circle label as desired. Adhere the Happy Easter to the blue circle label as desired. I have the sentiment sitting slightly on the bunny and the small egg.

Use adhesive and foam squares to adhere the bird in amongst the eggs as desired. To finish the cardfront, adhere the pink banner to the top right portion of the fishtails as desired.

Here are a few closeups of the finished card.

Here is the finished Happy Easter Card.
