Up on my blog today, I thought I'd share an extra project with a tutorial using the Wedding Memories Creative Kit as well as the Spring Florals and Love You Banner Cut Files by Jennifer Edwardson Creative Inc. Grab a cup of your favourite summertime beverage and enjoy my tutorial on how to create my Love You Mini Album.
To start, you’ll need to pull all of the contents out of the Wedding Memories Creative Kit.
Cut out the florals from the Spring Floral Cut File out of a piece of White Cardstock. You’ll need a total of four of the florals with a three of the extra three stem cut outs.
Cut out the Love You Banner Cut File from a piece of Black Cardstock. Distress the edges of the banners.
Choose one of the patterned papers that was pulled out and trace one of the banners twice out of the patterned paper. Cut out the banners. Punch two holes at the top of each patterned paper banner. Distress the edges of both banners. Ink the edges of both banners using Licorice Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Choose another piece of the patterned paper and trace one of the banners twice out of the patterned paper. Cut out the banners. Punch two holes at the top of each patterned paper banner. Distress the edges of both banners. Ink the edges of both banners using Licorice Ink and a blending tool with foam.
You’ll need another piece of patterned paper and trace one of the banners once out of the patterned paper. Cut out the banner. Punch two holes at the of the patterned paper banner. Distress the edges of the banner. Ink the edges of the banner using Licorice Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Next, you’ll need another piece of patterned paper and trace one of the banners once out of the patterned paper. Cut out the banner. Punch two holes at the of the patterned paper banner. Distress the edges of the banner. Ink the edges of the banner using Licorice Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Choose one more piece of patterned paper and trace one of the banners once out of the patterned paper. Cut out the banner. Punch two holes at the of the patterned paper banner. Distress the edges of the banner. Ink the edges of the banner using Licorice Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the cut apart square patterned paper, fussy cut the gold heart and champagne glasses out. Ink the edges of both images using Licorice Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Out of the Bits & Pieces package, you’ll need to pull three of the word strips. Ink the edges of the word strips using Licorice Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Out of the Wedding Memories Creative Kit, you’ll need the cream, light grey and dark grey Color Vibe Textured Cardstock pieces.
From the Cream paper, cut two pieces that measure 2” x 2 ½”. Distress the edges of the pieces. Ink the edges of the pieces using Licorice Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the light grey paper, cut three pieces that measure 2” x 2 ½”. Distress the edges of the pieces. Ink the edges of the pieces using Licorice Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the dark grey paper, cut two pieces that measure 2” x 2 ½”. Distress the edges of the pieces. Ink the edges of the pieces using Licorice Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Now it’s time to start decorating the banners.
You’ll want to grab the L Banner and one of the patterned paper banners. Adhere the patterned paper banner to the L Banner. Adhere one of the flowers to the bottom left corner of the L. Choose one of the word strips from the Sticker Elements out of the Wedding Memories Creative Kit. Ink the edges of the word strip using Licorice Ink and a Blending Tool with foam. Adhere the word strip slightly overtop of the flower. Choose two Enamel Dots out of the Wedding Memories Creative Kit and adhere to either end of the word strip as desired.
Using one of the washi tapes out of the Wedding Memories Creative Kit, adhere a cream piece to the back side of the banner.
Next, you’ll need the O Banner and one of the patterned paper banners. Adhere the patterned paper banner to the O Banner. Foam square the champagne image to the bottom right side of the O. Adhere one of the paper word strips to the left of the champagne glasses.
Next, grab the V Banner and one of the patterned paper banners. Adhere the patterned paper banner to the V Banner. Adhere one of the flowers and a three stem branch to the bottom left corner of the V. Choose one of the word strips from the Sticker Elements out of the Wedding Memories Creative Kit. Ink the edges of the word strip using Licorice Ink and a Blending Tool with foam. Adhere the word strip slightly overtop of the flower. Choose three Enamel Dots out of the Wedding Memories Creative Kit and adhere to the top right side of the V.
Next, you’ll need the E Banner and one of the patterned paper banners. Adhere the patterned paper banner to the E Banner. Choose one of the flower stickers from the
Sticker Elements out of the Wedding Memories Creative Kit. Ink the edges of the flower using Licorice Ink and a Blending Tool with foam. Foam square the flower sticker to the top left corner of the E. Choose another flower from the Sticker Elements. Ink the edges
of the flower using Licorice Ink and a Blending Tool with foam. Adhere the flower to the bottom right corner of the E. Foam square one of the paper word strips to the left of the flower.
Next, grab the Y Banner and one of the patterned paper banners. Adhere the patterned paper banner to the Y Banner. Adhere one of the flowers with three stem branch to the bottom left corner of the Y. Choose one of the word strips from the Sticker Elements out of the Wedding Memories Creative Kit. Ink the edges of the word strip using Licorice Ink and a Blending Tool with foam. Adhere the word strip slightly overtop of the flower.
Choose two Enamel Dots out of the Wedding Memories Creative Kit and adhere to the top left side of the Y.
Next, you’ll need the O Banner and one of the patterned paper banners. Adhere the patterned paper banner to the O Banner. Foam square the gold cut out heart to the
right side of the O. Adhere the last paper word strip to the gold heart as desired. Choose one of the heart stickers from the Sticker Elements out of the Wedding Memories Creative Kit. Ink the edges of the heart using Licorice Ink and a Blending Tool with foam. Adhere the heart to the heart and word strip as desired.
Grab the U Banner and one of the patterned paper banners. Adhere the patterned paper banner to the U Banner. Adhere one of the last flower and three stem branch to
the bottom left corner of the U. Choose one of the word strips from the Sticker Elements out of the Wedding Memories Creative Kit. Ink the edges of the word strip using Licorice Ink and a Blending Tool with foam. Adhere the word strip slightly overtop of the flower. Choose three Enamel Dots out of the Wedding Memories Creative Kit and adhere to the top right side of the U.
To finish your Love You Mini Album, you’ll need two jump rings to put through the hole at the top of each banner.
