Thinking of You Tag

Happy Friday!

For today's project I'm sharing this quick and easy Thinking of You Tag. To create my tag, I've used dies from the Planner Essentials Collection as well as stamps from the Beautiful Blooms Collection and Joset Designs. You'll want to read below as I have a full tutorial on how to recreate my tag at home.

The first three steps use the Planner Essentials 42 - Shapes, Frames & Words.

To start, you'll need to choose a piece of patterned paper out of the Reminiscence the Book 2. Die cut the solid tag out of the patterned paper piece. Ink the edges of the solid tag using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Die cut the plain edged tag out of a piece of kraft cardstock. Ink the edges of the tag using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Choose another piece of patterned paper out of the Reminiscence the Book 2. Die cut the plain stitched banner out of the patterned paper piece. Ink the edges of the banner using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

The next two steps use the Beautiful Blooms - Forever Stamp Set.

Apply Potting Soil Archival Ink to the bird and stamp onto a piece of watercolour cardstock. Colour the bird in using a waterbrush and the watercolour palette. Once the bird has dried, fussy cut it out. Ink the edges of the bird using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Apply Potting Soil Archival Ink to the plain leaf branch and stamp twice onto a piece of watercolour cardstock. Apply Potting Soil Archival Ink to the leaf with berries branch and stamp onto a piece of watercolour cardstock. Colour the all the images in using a waterbrush and the watercolour palette. Once the images have dried, fussy cut them out. Ink the edges of all the pieces using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Apply Potting Soil Archival Ink to the Thinking Of You words from the Build Your Own Sentiments Stamp Set and stamp onto a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Cut the sentiment into two word strips. Ink the edges of both word strips using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Adhere the plain edge tag to the solid tag.

Adhere the banner 1/8" from the right and 1/2" from the bottom of the tag. Adhere the leaf branches as desired in the bottom right corner of the tag.

Foam square the bird so that it sits slightly over top of the branches.

Adhere the Thinking Of You sentiment to the top left of the bird.

To finish the tag, tie a piece of white twine through the hole at the top of the tag.

Here are a few closeup photos of the finished tag.

Here is the finished Thinking of You Tag.
