It's time for a new Designer Challenge on the Elizabeth Craft Designs Blog today. For July's challenge it's all about Summer Fun with Words & Numbers. The inspiration for my project came from Joset Designs Blackboard Alphabet dies and the Stitched Fishtails. With how to use the Blackboard Alphabets die in mind, I set out to create my Summer Banner. Grab a summer beverage and read below as I have a tutorial for you so that you can re-create my banner at home. You'll also want to read all the way down to the bottom of the post as there's some information on how to get in on the fabulous giveaway from Elizabeth Craft Designs.
To start, die cut the small and large palm trees out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Twisted Citron Distress Ink on the leaf part of both palm trees. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Vintage Photo Distress Ink over the trunks of each palm trees.
