Planner Post - Happy Day Scrapbook Layout

Happy Saturday! I'm thrilled to be sharing with you today my Happy Day Scrapbook Layout. To create my layout, I've used a variety of the dies from the Planner Essentials line as well as 12x12 White Soft Finish Cardstock. Yes you read that right, 12x12 White Soft Finish Cardstock is back!! As you can tell, I'm super excited about that. You'll want to read below to learn how I put the elements together on my scrapbook layout.

To get the stenciled image on the background of my layout, I die cut the diamond pattern from the Planner Patterns die out of a piece of acetate. Place the stencil on the White Soft Finish Cardstock and put Opaque Matte Texture Paste through the stencil. Place the stencil on the cardstock piece as desired and put texture paste through the stencil three more times. Once the texture paste is dry, on a large clear block, rub Salty Ocean, Squeezed Lemonade and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Ink, spritz the ink with water and press onto the cardstock piece. Repeat this step three to four more times as desired.

For the tittle label, die cut the stitched label from the Planner Labels out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Apply Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Ink to the matching label stamp and stamp onto the die cut label. Apply Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Ink to the Happy Day sentiment and stamp onto the die cut label.

Die cut the tickets out of kraft cardstock. Apply Emboss It Ink to the grid stamp and stamp onto each ticket. Die cut the large tag out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Place the tag in the Lots of Dots Embossing Folder and run through your die cutting machine. Die cut the 3" x 4" piece with holes out of kraft cardstock. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the bubbles stamp and stamp onto the 3" x 4" piece. Repeat the previous step until the entire piece is covered.

Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the hexagon stamp and stamp onto a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Repeat the previous step seven more times. Use the stitched hexagon and plain hexagon die to die cut the stamped hexagon outs. Use Salty Ocean, Squeezed Lemonade and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Ink and water brush to colour the hexagons.
Die cut the date label out of White Soft Finish Cardstock.

Ink all the edges of all of the elements using Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink and a blending tool with foam. Arrange and adhere the die cut elements as desired on your 12x12 cardstock piece.

To finish off the layout, use Dylusions Ink Spray - Black Marble and a paint brush to splatter the ink on the layout. Splatter as much or as little as you'd like.
