Hello Card

Happy Wednesday!

For today's project it's all about bright colours and wishing Spring would be here soon with this pretty Hello Card. To create my card, I've used a variety of dies from the Paper Flower Collection as well as dies from Joset Designs and Els van de Burgt Studio. You'll want to read below as I have a full tutorial on how to recreate my card at home.

To start, die cut a 4 1/4" Stitched Indented Square out of book page. Die cut a 4" Fitted Indented Square out of a piece of kraft cardstock. Die cut a 3 3/4" Stitched Indented Square out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Distress the edges of all the squares. Ink the edges of the squares using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Die cut a 1 3/4" Stitched Circle out of a piece of kraft cardstock. Distress the edges of the circle. Ink the edges of the circle using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Die cut the Elegant Ornament out of a piece of Silver Foil Paper. Cut the ornament down to 4".

From the Words 2 - Thinking of You Die, die cut the Hello word out of a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock.

The next three steps use the Florals 9 Die.

Die cut the large flower three times, the medium flower six times and the small flower three times. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Fossilized Amber Distress Ink over the entire surface of flowers.

Die cut the flower centres twice out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. You'll need two small centres and one medium centre.

Die cut the small leaf twice out of a piece of Olive Twist Soft Finish Cardstock.

Adhere the 3 3/4" square to the 4" square. Foam square the 4" square to the 4 1/4" square.

Adhere the elegant ornament to the middle of the 3 3/4" square. Adhere the stitched circle to the middle of the ornament opening.

Adhere a large, two medium, one small and a centre together to create your flower. You'll need to repeat the previous step two more times for the remaining flowers. Shape the flowers as desired.

Adhere one leaf set at the top right side of the ornament. Adhere the other leaf to the bottom left side of the ornament.

Use foam squares to adhere two of the flowers in the bottom left hand side of the ornament. Use foam squares to adhere the remaining flower to the top right side of the ornament.

Adhere the hello word to the stitched circle as desired.

To finish the card, cut a cardbase that measures 4 1/4" x 8 1/2", score at 4 1/4". Adhere the cardfront to the cardbase.

Here are a few closeup photos of the finished card.

Here is the finished Hello Card.
