Bonjour Insert

  Happy Thursday! 

Today's post, is all about this vintage Bonjour Insert. My insert uses the Sidekick Essentials Collection. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my insert at home. 

The next three steps use the Sidekick Essentials 14 - Bonjour Fold Out Die. 

To start, you need to choose a piece of the heavy patterned paper out of the Reminiscence the Book. Die cut the fold out from the patterned paper. You'll need the cut out piece. Ink the edges of the fold out using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

 Flip the cut out piece over and ink the edges using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Die cut the Bonjour word out of a piece of black cardstock.

From the Sidekick Essentials 7 die, die cut the large leaf branch out of a piece of green patterned paper from the Reminiscence the Book. 

Choose one of the reinforcements out of the Reinforcement Variety Pack. Choose a piece of patterned paper out of the Reminiscence the Book. Die cut four reinforcements out of the patterned paper. Ink the edges of the reinforcements using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

From the Sidekick Essentials - Paper Love Stamp Set, you'll need the two squares. Apply Milled Lavender Distress Ink to one of the squares and stamp onto a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Apply Wilted Violet Distress Ink to the other square and stamp onto a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Fussy cut the two squares out. Ink the edges of both squares using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

From the Sidekick Essentials - Planted With Love Stamp Set, you'll need the two money stamps. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to each of the money stamps and stamp onto a piece of kraft cardstock. Fussy cut the two money pieces out. Ink the edges of both pieces using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Adhere the fold out together. Adhere the cut out piece in the hole on the fold out.

Adhere one of the squares 3/8" from the right and 1/2" from the top of the fold out. Adhere the other square 3/4" from the right and 1/2" from the bottom of the fold out.

Adhere one of the money pieces 1/8" from the right and 5/8" from the bottom of the fold out. Adhere the other money piece 1/8" from the top and 1/4" from the left.

Adhere two of the reinforcements on the left hand side of the fold out, making sure they line up with two of the rings in the sidekick planner. Flip the fold out over and adhere the other reinforcements overtop of the previously adhered reinforcements.

Staple the leaf branch to the middle of the fold out. Staple the Bonjour word to the bottom portion of the fold out as desired.
