For today's project I'm back with a Spring themed You Are Awesome Gift Tag. To create my gift tag, I've used a variety of dies from the Paper Flower Collection and the Planner Essentials Collection as well as stamps from Joset Designs. You'll want to read below as I have a full tutorial on how to recreate my gift tag at home.
To start, choose a piece of patterned paper. From the Planner Essentials 30 - Wave Pocket Die, you'll need the small tag. Die cut the small tag out of the patterned paper. Ink the edges of the tag using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
From the Leaves & Branches Die, you'll need to choose one of the leaves. Die cut the leaf twice out of a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Forest Moss Distress Ink over the entire surface of both leaves.
The next three steps use the Florals 8 die.
Die cut the small and large leaves twice out of a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Mowed Lawn Distress Ink over the entire surface of all of the leaves.
Die cut the smallest flower twice out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Using a blending tool, blend Dried Marigold Distress Ink in the middle of each flower.
Die cut the large flower twice, the medium flower three times and the small flower three times out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Using a blending tool, blend Dried Marigold Distress Ink in the middle of each flower.
From the Build Your Own Sentiments Stamp, you'll need the You Are and the Awesome stamps. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to each stamp and stamp onto a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Cut the stamped words into two word strips. Ink the edges of both word strips using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
In the top right corner of the tag, adhere a dark green leaf as well as a small and large leaf as desired. In the bottom left corner pf the tag, adhere the remaining leaves as desired.
Adhere two large flowers, a medium and one small flower together. Adhere two medium flowers, a small flower and the smallest flower. Adhere the remaining flowers together. Shape the flowers as desired.
Foam square the large flower to the middle of the tag. Adhere the remaining flowers around the large flower as desired.
Adhere the You Are and Awesome word strips to the bottom right side of the tag as desired.
To finish the tag, tie a piece of twine through the top of the tag.
