Happy Friday! I'm excited to be sharing with you my Merry & Bright Christmas Notecard. For my notecard, I featured dies and stamps from Joset Designs and ModaScrap patterned paper. You'll want to read below as I share with you how to recreate my notecard at home.
To start, choose two patterned paper pieces from ModaScrap's Let It Snow Paper Pack. Die cut the 3 3/4" Dashing Square out of one of the patterned paper pieces. Die cut the 4 1/4" Dashing Square out of the other patterned paper piece. Ink the edges of both patterned paper pieces using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Die cut the 3/4" Stitched Fishtail Banner out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Place the notched side of the die on the other side of the banner and run through your die cutting machine. Apply Faded Jeans Distress Oxide Ink to the Merry & Bright sentiment. Stamp onto the banner. Ink the edges of the banner using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Die cut the small and medium snowflake out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Apply Emboss It Ink to detailed layer of the small and medium snowflakes. Sprinkle Iridescent Shimmer Embossing Powder overtop of each snowflake. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool. Adhere the small detail snowflake to the small snowflake base. Adhere the medium detail snowflake to the medium snowflake base.
From the Winter Sweater die, die cut three snowflakes out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Add a Transp. Glitter/Gold Dot to the center of each snowflake.
Adhere the 3 3/4" dashing square to the 4 1/4" dashing square.
Foam square the small snowflake to the medium snowflake. Foam square the medium snowflake to the middle of the 3 3/4" dashing square.
Adhere the Merry & Bright Banner to the middle of the snowflakes.
Adhere the three snowflakes around the medium snowflake. To finish off the notecard, cut a cardbase that measures 4 1/4" x 8 1/2", score at 4 1/4". Adhere the cardfront to the cardbase.
Here are is a closeup photos of the finished card.
