You Did It Tag

 Happy Sunday!

For today's project I'm back with my You Did It Tag. To create my tag, I've used a variety of dies from the Paper Flower Collection, Joset Designs and the Planner Essentials Collection as well as stamps from Joset Designs and the Planner Essentials. You'll want to read below as I have a full tutorial on how to recreate my tag at home.

To start, die cut the large tag from the Planner Essentials - 2 die out of a piece of kraft cardstock. Apply Emboss It Ink to the number stamp from the Background Stamps 2 and stamp onto the tag. Reapply ink to the stamp and stamp the remaining portion of the tag. Ink the edges of the tag using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Die cut a 3/4" Diagonal Stitched Fishtail out of a piece of cream cardstock. Cut the fishtail down to 2 1/2". Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the You Did It Stamp from the Build Your Own Sentiments 1 stamp and stamp onto the right hand side of the fishtail. Ink the edges of the fishtail using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

The next two steps use the Florals 9 die.

Die cut two large leaves and one small leaf out of green paper.

Die cut one Extra large flower, three large flowers, three medium flowers, three small flowers and three extra small flowers out of a piece of blue paper. Die cut the flower centre once out of cream cardstock. You'll need a total of three centres.

Adhere the fishtail 1 1/2" from the bottom and have a 1/4" hang over the right hand side of the tag.

For one of the flowers, adhere a extra large, large, medium, small, extra small and a centre to the middle of the extra small flower. For the other two flowers, adhere a large, medium, small, extra small and a centre to the middle of the extra small flower. Shape the flowers as desired.

Shape the leaves as desired. Adhere on large leaf to the top left corner of the tag. Adhere one of the small leaves to the middle left side of the tag. Adhere the remaining large leaf to the bottom left corner of the tag.

Foam square the extra large flower overtop of the end of the fishtail. Adhere one of the flowers above the large flower and adhere the remaining flower below the large flower.

To finish the tag, tie a piece of cream twine through the top of the hole of the tag.

Here are a few closeup photos of the finished tag.

Spring is in the Air Junk Journal Page

Happy Friday!

Today's post, I'm sharing this spring themed Spring is in the Air Junk Journal page.  To create my page, I've used stencils and dies from the Art Journal Collection. You'll want to read below as I have a full tutorial on how to recreate my page at home.

To start, you'll need a piece of patterned. I used one of the patterns out of the Worn Wallpaper Pack. Cut a piece that measures 2 3/4" x 4 7/8".  Select on the of Journal Edges. Place the journal edge on the left edge of the paper and die cut. Ink the edges of the paper using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Adhere the patterned paper piece 1/4" from the left of the right side of the page.

Choose one of the stencils out of the Pattern Stencil Pack. Place the stencil partially on the page and partially on the patterned paper. Using a palette knife, put Texture Paste Opaque Matte through the stencil. Remove the stencil and allow the texture paste to dry.

Cut a piece of lace that measures 3/4" x 4 3/4".

Die cut a flower from the Floral Insert Die out of a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Using a waterbrush and Watercolours, colour the flower.

From the Flower Power, choose one of the flowers and die cut it out of a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock.

Adhere the lace 3/4" from the left of the patterned paper.

Adhere the two flowers to the middle of the lace and patterned paper as desired.

From the Small Talk - Occasions book, select the Spring is in the air sticker. Cut the sticker into two. Ink the edges of the sticker using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Here are a few closeup photos of the finished page.
