Jeep Happy Birthday Card

 Happy Thursday!

Today's project, is all about this fun Jeep Happy Birthday Card which I created using dies from Joset Designs and Els van de Burgt Studio. You'll want to read below as I have a full tutorial on how to recreate my card at home.

To start, choose a piece of patterned paper from the Worn Wood Paper Pack. Die cut a 5 1/4" Stitched Square out of the patterned paper. Die cut a 4 3/4" Stitched Square out of a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Ink the edges of both squares using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Die cut a 3/4" Diagonal Stitched Fishtail out of a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Cut the fishtail down to 2 1/4". Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Build Your Own Sentiments 1 Stamp Set and stamp onto the fishtail. Ink the edges of the fishtail using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

The next four steps use the Safari Jeep Die.

Die cut the jeep out of a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Using a blending tool with foam, blend Ripe Persimmon Distress Ink over the entire surface of the jeep.

Die cut the grill for the jeep out of a piece of silver foil paper.

Die cut the headlights once out of Sunflower Soft Finish Cardstock. You'll only need the two small lights.

Die cut the steering wheel, tires, mirrors, headlights, backer piece of the grill and bumper out of black cardstock. You'll just need the large lights.

Adhere the 4 3/4" square to the 5 1/4" square.

Adhere the jeep together.

Foam square the jeep 3/4" from the bottom and 1/8" from the right of the 4 3/4" square.

Adhere the fishtail 1/8" from the bottom and all the way to the left hand side of the 5 1/4" square.

To finish the card, cut a cardbase out of White Soft Finish Cardstock that measures 5 1/4" x 10 1/2", score at 5 1/4". Adhere the cardfront to the cardbase.

Here are a few closeup photos of the finished card.

Here is the finished Jeep Happy Birthday Card.
