Happy Friday!
For today's project I'm back with a Spring Wreath. To create my wreath, I've used a variety of dies from the Paper Flower Collection, Joset Designs and A Way With Words. You'll want to read below as I have a full tutorial on how to recreate my wreath at home.
To start, you'll need a base to create your wreath.
Choose a piece of wood paper out of the Worn Wood Paper Pack. Die cut a 1 1/2" Diagonal Stitched Fishtail. Trim the fishtail down to 4 1/4".
From the 4 Seasons Die, die cut the Spring Word out of White Soft Finish Cardstock.
From the Strawberries Die, you'll need the two swirls. Die cut one of the swirls twice out a piece of golden yellow paper. Die cut the other swirl once out of a piece of golden yellow paper.
The next four steps use the Florals 7 die.
Die cut the small leaf twice out of green cardstock. Die cut the medium leaf once out of green cardstock. Die cut the large leaf once out of green cardstock.
Choose a piece of blue patterned paper. Die cut the large, medium, small and extra small flowers twice out of the patterned paper.
Choose a piece of pink paper. Die cut the extra large, large, medium, small and extra small flowers once out of the paper.
Die cut the centres once out of a piece of yellow patterned paper. You'll only need one centre. Die cut the centres again out of a piece of yellow cardstock. You'll only need two centres.
Adhere the spring word to the left hand side of the fishtail.
Adhere the fishtail to the bottom right side of the wreath base.
Adhere a small leaf 4" from the top of the wreath base. Adhere a small leaf 5" from the left side of the wreath base. Adhere the remaining two leaves in the bottom right corner of the wreath base.
Adhere one of the swirls in amongst the small leaf at the top and adhere the other swirl in amongst the small leaf at the bottom. Adhere the remaining swirl beside the two leaves in the corner of the wreath base.
Adhere the flowers together. Shape the flowers as desired.
Adhere the pink flower in the bottom right corner of the wreath base. Adhere one of the blue flowers to the left of the pink flower and to the right of the pink flower.
To finish the wreath, tie a piece of heavy twine through the hole at the top.
Here are a few closeup photos of the finished wreath.
