Grow, Blossom, Bloom Notecard

Happy Tuesday! I'm excited to be sharing with you my Grow, Blossom and Bloom notecard. For my notecard, I featured dies from Els van de Burgt Studio, ModaScrap and Krista Schneider Stamps. You'll want to read below as I share with you how to create my notecard at home.

To start, choose a piece of patterned paper from the Butterfly Dream Patterned Paper Pack. Die cut the 4 1/4" Stitched Square out of the patterned paper piece. Distress the edges of the square. Ink the edges of the square using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

With the patterned paper pack still out, choose a second piece from the patterned paper pack. Die cut a 2 1/8" Stitched Circle out of the paper. Distress the edges of the circle. Ink the edges of the circle using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

You'll need to choose one more piece from the patterned paper. Die cut the 3/4" Stitched Fishtail Banner out of the paper. With the banner cut out, place the die on the straight end of the banner and run the die back through your die cutting machine. Distress the edges of the banner. Ink the edges of the banner using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

From a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock, die cut a 2 5/8" Stitched Circle. Distress the edges of the circle. Ink the edges of the circle using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

On a scrap piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the Grow, Bloom and Blossom sentiments from the Garden Party stamp set and stamp onto the piece of cardstock. Cut the three words into three sentiment blocks. Distress the edges of each sentiment block. Ink the edges of the sentiment blocks using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Die cut two Leafy Branch 2's out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Blend Tumbled Glass Distress Ink over top of each leafy branch using a blending tool with foam.

Die cut one Leafy Branch 1 out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Blend Stormy Sky Distress Ink over the entire leafy branch using a blending tool with foam.

Die cut a 2 1/8" Stitched Circle out of Watercolour Cardstock. Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the kitty stamp from the Garden Party Stamp set onto the stitched circle. Watercolour the kitty with following Tombow Markers: 636, 743, 977 and 055. Distress the edges of the circle. Ink the edges of the circle using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Now it's time for assembly.

Adhere the 2 1/8" patterned paper stitched circle to the 2 3/8" white stitched circle. Foam square the 2 3/8" stitched circle 1/2" from the right and 1/2" from the top of the stitched square.

Adhere the banner in the middle of the circles. Adhere all three leafy branches to the top right side of the circle.

Put adhesive at the top of the circle with the kitty and foam squares at the bottom of the same circle. Adhere the circle 1/2" from the left and 1/2" from the bottom of the stitched square.

Adhere the three sentiment blocks to the right of the kitty circle. To finish the card, cut a cardbase that measures 4 1/4" x 8 1/2", score at 4 1/4". Adhere the cardfront to the cardbase.
