Happy Monday!
I'm playing along with the December Day By Day happening on the Elizabeth Craft Designs Planner Facebook Group. So, needless to say that you will be seeing lots of posts of the different days in my planner through out December on my blog. For this post, I thought I would share with you how to recreate Day 7 & 8 of my planner spreads.
To start, you'll need to choose a piece of patterned paper. I used one of the patterned papers from the Christmas Paper Pack from Carta Bella. Die cut the small planner page from the Planner Essentials - 5 out of the patterned paper. Ink the edges of the page using Black Soot Distress Ink and a Blending Tool with Foam.
Choose another piece of patterned paper from the same paper pack and die cut the page from the Planner Essentials - 12 die out of the patterned paper. In the edges of the page using Black Soot Distress Ink and a Blending Tool with Foam.
Next, you'll need the Reindeer Mail Stamp Set. Apply Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink over the entire surface of the "It's The Most Wonderful" sentiment and stamp onto a piece of kraft cardstock. Cut the sentiment out so that it measures 2 5/8" x 3 3/8". Ink the edges of the sentiment using Black Soot Distress Ink and a Blending Tool with Foam.
Choose another piece of patterned paper from the same paper pack and cut two pieces that measure 1" x 1 1/4". Ink the edges of the pieces using Black Soot Distress Ink and a Blending Tool with Foam.
From the Filmstrip Numbers die, die cut the backers and the number 7 & 8 out of black cardstock.
Choose another piece of patterned paper from the same paper pack and die cut the reinforcements hearts from the Planner Labels twice out of the patterned paper, you'll need a total of 8 reinforcements. Ink the edges of the reinforcements using Black Soot Distress Ink and a Blending Tool with Foam.
From the Planner Labels, choose a label. Die cut the label out of a cream cardstock piece. Ink the edges of the label using Black Soot Distress Ink and a Blending Tool with Foam.
Next, you'll need to get one doily out.
Cut a square frame out of the patterned paper that measures 4" x 4". Ink the edges of the square using Black Soot Distress Ink and a Blending Tool with foam.
Choose another piece of patterned paper from the same paper pack and die cut the 3 1/2" Stitched Rectangle out of the patterned paper. Ink the edges of the rectangle using Black Soot Distress Ink and a Blending Tool with Foam.
From the patterned paper pack, choose one of the squares that has a saying on it. Cut the saying into as many strips as you desire. Ink the edges of the strips using Black Soot Distress Ink and a Blending Tool with Foam.
To start, we will assemble Day 7.
Adhere six reinforcement hearts over the circles on the pennant page.
Adhere the doily to the middle of the page. Adhere the square to the middle left hand side of the page. Die cut your photo out of the 3" Stitched Rectangle. Adhere the 3" rectangle photo to the 3 1/2" rectangle. Adhere the 3 1/2" rectangle overtop of the doily and square. The 3 1/2" rectangle will hang a bit over on the left side of the page.
Adhere the number 7 with backer together. Adhere the Day 7 to the top left side of the photo. Adhere the planner to the bottom left side of the photo. Adhere the sentiment to the right of the label.
Add journaling as desired on the label.
Here is the finished Day 7.
Adhere two reinforcement hearts overt top of the circles on the Day 8 page.
Foam square the "It's the Most Wonderful" sentiment 1" from the left and 1/4" from the top of the page. Adhere the Number 8 and backer together. Adhere the Number 8 to the left of the sentiment as desired.
