Happy Sunday!
I've been busy creating with Joset Designs dies this past week and created this Tweet Greetings Christmas Card. You'll want to read below as I have a full tutorial on how to recreate my card at home.
To start, die cut a 3 1/2" Stitched Indented Rectangle out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Sprinkle Aquamarine Magenta Nuance as desired on the rectangle. Spritz the powder with water. Once the rectangle has dried, ink the edges of the rectangle using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Choose a piece of Christmas patterned paper and die cut a 4" Stitched Indented Rectangle out of the patterned paper. Ink the edges of the rectangle using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Die cut a 3/8" Diagonal Stitched Fishtail out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Cut the fishtail down to 2 1/8". Apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the Tweet Greetings sentiment from the Joyful Wishes stamp set and stamp onto the fishtail. Ink the edges of the fishtail using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
The next few steps involve die cutting all the pieces from the Holiday Bird House out of White Soft Finish Cardstock.
Using a blending tool with foam, blend Mowed Lawn Distress Ink over the entire surface of the roof and circle.
Using a blending tool with foam, ink the edges of the birds and snow with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.
Using a blending tool with foam, blend Fossilized Amber Distress Ink over the entire surface of the light string, light bulbs and ledge.
Using a blending tool with foam, blend Shabby Shutters Distress Ink over the entire surface of the leaves.
Using a blending tool with foam, blend Candied Apple Distress Ink over the entire surface of the bird house and berries.
Using a blending tool with foam, blend Black Soot Distress Ink over the entire surface of the circle.
Adhere the 3 1/2" Stitched Indented Rectangle to the 4" Stitched Indented Rectangle.
Foam square the bird house to the middle of the 3 1/2" rectangle. Foam square the black circle to the inside of the circle on the bird house. Foam square the ledge to the bottom of the bird house.
Adhere to the snow to the middle bottom portion of the bird house. Adhere a bird to each side of the bird house.
Adhere the green circle overtop of the black circle. Adhere the roof to the top of the bird house. Adhere the leaves and berries to the top of the room. Adhere the single light bulbs over top of the light bulb string. Adhere the light bulb string to the top left side of the bird house.
Adhere the Tweet Greetings sentiment 1/2" from the bottom and the left hand side of the 4" stitched indented rectangle. To finish the card, cut a cardbase that measures 5 1/4" x 8", score at 4". Adhere the cardfront to the cardbase.
Here are a few closeup photos of the finished card.
