A Creative Journey: 03 Sidekick Planner Page

Happy Saturday!

I hope you're all having a wonderful start to your weekend. For today's post, I've created this 03 Sidekick Planner Page which features the new Sidekick Collection. To create my page, I've combined a variety of dies and stamps from the Planner Essentials Collection and Sidekick Essentials Collection. You'll want to grab a cup of your favourite beverage and learn how to recreate my Sidekick Planner Page at home.

To start, die cut the page from the Sidekick Essentials 7 die, die cut the page out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Spritz some water in the bottom right corner of the page. Spritz Dylusions Ink in Pink Flamingo, Pure Sunshine and Lemon Zest on the bottom right corner of the page the water. Dab off excess spray with a paper towel as desired. Spritz more colour as needed. Once the spray stain has dried, apply Jet Black Archival Ink to the Splatter stamp from the Background Stamps 2 and stamp randomly for the colour is on the page. I stamped a total of seven times. Reapply ink to the stamp as needed. Distress the edges of the page. Ink the edges of the page using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

From the Sidekick Essential 8 die, die cut the & reinforcements out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Die cut the large stitched rectangle out of a piece of patterned paper. Distress the edges of the rectangle. Ink the edges of the rectangle using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Next, you'll need the small note piece from the Planner Essentials 21 - Note Pieces die. Die cut the small note piece out of kraft cardstock. Distress the edges of the note piece. Ink the edges of the note piece using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

From the Planner Labels, you'll need the stitched rectangle label and stitched circle label. Die cut the stitched rectangle label out of Sunflower Soft Finish Cardstock. Die cut the stitched circle label out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Distress the edges of both labels. Ink the edges of both labels using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

From the Planner Essentials 26 - Planner Pocket 4 - Tags & Toppers die, you'll need the banner and long arrow label dies. Die cut the banner out of black cardstock. Die cut the long arrow label out of Bright Orange Soft Finish Cardstock. Distress the edges of the banner and label. Ink the edges of both pieces using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

From the Sidekick Essentials 7 die, die cut the large leaf bunch out of kraft cardstock.

From the Sidekick Essentials 5 die, die cut the & out of black cardstock. Die cut the 03 tag out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Remove the numbers from the circle. Spritz the circle with water. Spritz the now wet circle with Pink Flamingo and Pure Sunshine Dylusions Ink Sprays. Once the circle has dried, ink the edges of the circle using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Die cut the letters pattern from the Planner Patterns out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Cut the pattern down to 2 3/4".

Adhere the & reinforcements over top of the circles on the page.

Adhere the black banner 5/8" from the bottom and the banner will sit slightly over on the right side of the page. Foam square the large stitched rectangle 3/8" from the right and 1/4" from the bottom of the page. Adhere the long orange arrow label 1/8" from the left and 1/4" from the bottom of the large stitched rectangle.

Foam square the small note piece 1/8" from the right and 5/8" from the bottom of the page. Staple the yellow label to the middle of the small note piece. Staple the letter pattern to the small note piece.

Adhere the large leaf to the middle of the large stitched rectangle. Adhere the & symbol 7/8" from the bottom and 1/4" from the right of the page. Adhere the 03 circle to the stitched circle. Adhere the numbers in to the 03 circle. Foam square the 03 circle 3/4" from the bottom and 3/4" from the right of the page.
